Heraldry in Chichester Cathedral

Post by Stephen J F Plowman » Wed Jan 03, 2007 3:58 pm

A couple of days last week I managed just over half an hour in Chichester Cathedral taking pictures of the various heraldic monuments there. (We were in Chichester for the Youth Theatre's version of Peter Pan.) The limited time available to me is evident in the quality of some of the shots.

I have uploaded the images and they can be viewed from the Chichester link at http://www.heraldry-online.org.uk/chichester or click here for the slide show.

As time permits I will add any details & blazons I can put together. At some later stage I aim to add them into my heraldry site proper.
Yours aye

I enjoyed looking at your pictures, more so because I had visited Chichester Cathedral, but my camera's battery had run down. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the South of England. Did you see the Marc Chagall window?
