English rendition of a German blazon

Hello! I'm looking for an English rendition of a blazon I've got in two German versions:

• Mid-twentieth-century heraldic artist: "In Silber ein gepfähltes rotes Schildhaupt, belegt mit drei goldenen Sternen"
• Contemporary catalogue: "In Silber roter Schildhauptpfahl mit drei sechsstrahligen, goldenen Sternen"

Suggestion: "Argent a chief-pale gules charged with three six-pointed stars or"

The arms was reportedly granted by Maximilian I. Being in the Germanic heraldic tradition, its stars would be six-pointed by default. In English, however, their six-pointed-ness would probably need to be indicated as a deviation from the five-pointed anglophone norm.

I wonder about any ambiguity in the blazon as to whether the stars are arranged horizontally in the chief or vertically in the pale.

The stars should probably be blazoned as "three mullets of six or."
