22nd March 2006 We have now added a new
Members Only Forum. This has been launched ahead of schedule and is in
response to requests from a number of our registrants who expressed a
wish to enjoy each others fellowship. The initial request was simply to
include email addresses on each page so that one could contact the other
but being fully aware that publishing these addresses on the web almost
inevitable leads to increases in unwelcome spam it was decided by our
web master, John, that the easiest and safest way to achieve such
contact and fellowship was to create a forum for the exclusive use of
registrants.
The Forum is now active and those whose arms are included in the
International Armorial Register or as a courtesy the American College of
Arms click here link to gain access to it. |

Gentlemen at the
Register,
Now that my
colleagues at Burke's
Peerage & Gentry have viewed the initial pages
of
The Burke’s
Peerage & Gentry International Register of Arms we
feel we must congratulate you on a job well begun. When the directors first
decided to endorse this new venture within the
Burke's family we
scarcely thought it would be ready for launch with such alacrity. Your
commitment to create, develop and maintain this new Register is in the finest
traditions of nigh on 200 years of publishing by Burke's
Peerage. We have little doubt that within a short time
the new Register will become a global institution of the greatest
value. Our
directors also look forward to publishing the first printed volume of arms from
the Register as well as providing this excellent online access.
Bravo!
Gordon
Dr Gordon
Prestoungrange,
Baron of Prestoungrange |
