I am researching a corporal box, with a coat of arms that I am trying to identify. The arms are Vert three Chevrons chequey Argent and Gules-- green background with three chevrons each of a checkered red and white pattern. One source says this may have been the arms of a family from Ghent called de Tollenaere- also described as van Oudeslote dit Tollenaere. The coat of arms is depicted on a lozenge supported by two winged figures. The box would have then belonged to a woman because the lozenge is indicative of an unmarried women since the 16th century.
Any help with the arms or the family would be helpful. Thank you[/img]
