The arms are quite attractive! - though dual helmets & crests in a new design is surprising. Maybe it's a Romanian "thing"...

Indeed it appears to be so. The designer took a great deal of time to explain and since then I have been invited to join the Rumanian Heraldry Group on FB. Here are two random images "lifted" from that site:

I'm also a member of that forum - or rather, mostly a spectator, at the mercy of Google translator.
As far as I can tell, the examples of multiple helmets & crests seem to be nobles - notably patents of nobility & arms by various sovereigns - rather than arms assumed by commoners. But that may be a mistaken conclusion on my part...
