Clean, simple design. Assuming the emblazonment represents his intentions, shouldn't the blazon note that the three crosses are erect or palewise? Ordinarily charges on a bend would be oriented bendwise unless otherwise specified...

Crosses are always blazoned thus unless they are saltires of course.
