Pretty design, but to me the "chevron per chevron counterchanged" looks more like a chevronnel. À full Chevron would IMO likely be too fat to look right, so FWIW I prefer the emblazonment over the blazon.

On the other hand two shields of these arms, one following the blazon and the other matching the emblazonment, while technically not the same, IMO wouldn't (shouldn't) be sufficiently different to constitute different arms for unrelated persons or families.

Michael, I confess that it was me who altered the initial blazon to a chevron per chevron as I felt that the initial blazon which was "overall a chevronelle" left the position of the chevronelle a little too vague. I Since it was I who actually changed the initial suggestion, I'm open to discussion.

My opinion FWIW - others may see it differently:

"Per Chevron Vert and Or ... a chevronnel counterchanged" should match the emblazonment, with the chevronnel centered over the per Chevron partition. Any other placement of the chevronnel (either above or below the per Chevron partition) wouldn't, as far as I can tell, result in the chevronnel bring counterchanged.

At least that's how I see it, though others may have different / better ideas. And in any case, as noted earlier, it's a nice design.

Upon reflection, Michael, I would agree. I will have the chevron changed to chevronnel .

Thanks for the input.
