Now we have our warrant for our grant of arms from the Lord Lyon for the Armorial Register Limited we will be slowly updating the website. We have made a start by changing our corporate image and altering our three Registration Certificates our Standard Certificate which all registrants receive in PDF by email with their blazon and our 2 enhanced certificates which include the blazon, registrant’s arms and wafer seal posted to the registrant. All certificates are A4 size.

With the changes to the livery made by Lord Lyon, does that mean any undelivered certificates will be delayed while the background image is changed?

Looks like that is exactly what we will have to do Jeremy. On the particular rendition that we use on the certificates I will be able to do that. We are also having new renditions done by Tony Sarros and Ljubodrag Grujic so I look forward to them being completed too.

I hadn't noticed the change - was there a rationale behind changing from Azure doubled Argent to doubled Or?

As far as Lyon is considered Or. was the first metal mentioned in the arms.

Just curious, but how long does it take to be approved as a member of the International Heraldry Society. I submitted my online application on 10 January, but have heard absolutely nothing. I did not even get an email saying it was received.

I'm very pleased to hear the Armorial Register have now decided to use 100% cotton paper for their registration certificates. I feel this adds an air of quality and substance to the certificates. I also wonder if you will also be updating the seal to a an embossed logo too?
