KER/KERR Armorial - Getting there

Post by Stephen J F Plowman » Tue Jul 18, 2006 8:50 am

My Ker & Kerr armorial continues in fits & starts. I have just completed (I hope) all the Arms listed in Volume I of the Scottish Ordinary. I will now move onto those contained in Volume II before returning to those listed by Nisbet or any other "ancient" source.

If there are any glaring errors, please do let me know.
Yours aye

Stephen

Have you contacted Lyon Clerk to see if there is any new ones Stephen? There was one not in the ordinaries for the Duncan Armorial when I was doing that.

Perhaps. With my Fraser Armorial I paid £6.50 per entry for the post-1973 ones which were sent to me by mail. My interest in the Kerrs does not extend to my wallet at the moment.
Yours aye
