The Curiosities of Heraldry - The second of two new publication from The Armorial Register's Classic Heraldry & History Series

First published in 1845 by Mark Antony Lower. With illustrations from old English writers and numerous engravings from designs by the author. Containing chapters on such diverse topics as: The fabulous history of heraldry; The authentic history of heraldry; Rationale of the figures employed in heraldry; The chimerical figures of heraldry; The language of arms etc.

The book, part of The Classic History and Heraldry Series, is in hardback with 340 pages and numerous black and white illustrations of Arms reproduced by facsimile from the original volume and is 6in wide x 9in tall (13.29cm wide x 22.23cm tall).
