Fleur-de-lys - I was a member of the Scout Association from age 8 - Wolfcub (Bronze, Silver and Gold Arrows, Leaping Wolf); Boy Scout (2nd Class, 1st Class, Senior Scout, Patrol Leader, Bushman's Thong); Phadfinder (in Germany); Queen's Scout; Assistant Scout Leader; Scout Leader; Group Scout Leader.
Maple Leaves - My formative years in Canada.
Thunderbolts - Traditional symbol for electricity. I am a Qualified Electrician.
Indian 24 spoke Wheel of Life - The symbol of India, the land of my birth and where my ancestors lived for almost 400 years.
Royal Air Force roundel Proper - 12 years service in the RAF. I saw active service in Northern Ireland and on Falkland Island during the war.
The Griffin - A mythical beast, in Bleu Celeste for my Air Force career.
And finally my motto - Stand and be Counted - because I believe that it is our duty as a citizen and a human being to stand up for what we believe in.
