Arms: Per fess Argent and Azure in chief two ravens proper jointly transfixed by an arrow fesswise point to sinister in base a fouled anchor Or debruised of a lozenge at fess point Gules.

Motto:  Omnia Pro Bono

Family Badge: A torch enflamed and two arrows in saltire point upward Or all grasped within a raven's claw erased to sinister Proper.

The Arms of Rhonda Lynn Johnson

The armorial bearings of Rhonda Lynn  McClurg nee Johnson are used as a courtesy of her husband’s arms. The ravens transfixed refer to a Scottish story in which a widow's sons by three different men performed archery to show prowess with weapons for Robert the Bruce while he was on the run from the English. The brother's names were Murdoch, McKie and McClurg. The brothers joined The Bruce's army until he became Robert I, King of Scotland.

The fouled anchor is representative of the Mr. McClurg’s father’s service in the US Navy and promotion to Chief Petty Officer. The crest (not here shown) was developed to denote the armiger’s profession as a scholar with the quill bendwise due to left handedness.

Mclurg Family Badge

Mrs. McClurg is the daughter of Joseph Martin Johnson and Patricia Fay (Fletcher) Johnson. She was born in West Palm Beach, FL and raised in Harborcreek, PA. She earned his BA in Early Childhood Development at Penn State University and Married Timothy Michael McClurg in May 1985. Mrs. McClurg has three children: Kelly Elizabeth (1986), Amanda Katharine (1988), Brian Mathew (1990) and Shannon Laura (1992). In addition to being a mother and wife, Mrs. McClurg is employed in childcare.

The arms were designed with the gracious assistance of the IAAH. They are emblazoned by Ljubodrag Grujic and Terry Sarros.
