The Arms of Frank Carl Gregg

The surname "Gregg" means "watchful". The design of the shield reflects the prayer in Psalms 141 utilizing the concept of watchfulness. The portcullis is a heavy metal gate which guards the door of a castle. The one who guards the gate is Christ. His symbol, the cross, appears above. The armiger's motto is "Give Glory to the Lord". The Crest is a lamb symbolizing how the shepherds kept watch. The lamb is holding a branch of almond which has anciently been regarded as a symbol of spring and the idea of watchfulness. As the armiger is a businessman, the helmet is a "tilting helmet".

The armiger was a Staff Sergeant in the US Army Reserves-ASA (Army Security Agency) from 1960-1966. He was awarded the Burlington County Medal for Military Service.

Sgt. Gregg is married to Jacquelyn D. Gregg (nee Brennen) and they have two children, Michael Paul Gregg and Frank Richard Gregg.

Sgt. Gregg retired from the defence division of Computer Sciences Corporation.
