Arms: Azure chaussť ployť Vert in chief an Orthodox Cross blossoming Or to dexter base a bee volant and sinister base an academic cap Argent.

Crest: Five ostrich feathers Argent.

Motto: Fides, Labor Et Scientia.

Assumed: December 2016, Russia.
 

The Arms of  Dr. Valery Victorovich Stepanov

The armiger is a Doctor of Science, a Professor of the Russian Academy of Natural History and a member of the Russian Geographical Society. He is the owner of twenty-five patents and has published five monographs devoted to research in the field of satellite synoptic meteorology, intellectual property, technology and the study of traditional medicine. He has participated in several scientific expeditions covering the oceans, geology and aviation.

The Arms of Dr. Valery Victorovich Stepanov

The arms are based upon symbols that have been associated with the family for generations. The blossoming Orthodox cross on a green background symbolizes the armigerís involvement in Orthodoxy. The bee is a symbol of industriousness and the academic cap symbolises a university, or scientific, degree.

The family motto " Fides, Labor Et Scientia " reflects the symbolism of the charges on the shield.

All descendants of Valeriy V.Stepanov (b.1949) and Irina V.Stepanova (b.1951), as well as the spouses of their descendants, bearing the name of Stepanov are allowed to use this coat of arms as members of the armigerís family.
