The arms passed to the present
armiger, as principal heir, after the death of his father on 25 June 2006.
The present armiger is a Catholic Chaplain in the Armed Forces of the
Philippines with the rank of Captain. He achieved his Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Philosophy at St. Vincent Ferrer Seminary in Iloilo City, Philippines in 1991;
his theological studies at St. Joseph Regional Seminary in the same city in
1996; and was ordained to the Order of Priesthood on 12 December 1996.
Commissioned in the Reserve Force of the Armed Forces of the Philippines on 16
January 1998 and later in the regular force on 3 February 2000, he finished his
military training at the Combat Arms School of the Philippine Army in Fort
Magsaysay, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines in 1998.
The armiger took his Licentiate Degree in Moral Theology at the Pontificia
Universita della Santa Croce (of the Prelature of Opus Dei) in Rome, Italy in
June 2002 and took his Doctoral Degree in the same field at the same Pontifical
university in Rome in 2006 after successfully defending his Docotral
Dissertation entitled "The Fundamental Moral Principle for Armed Service:
Defense of Human Life and Dignity." |
