The Arms of Jakub Tenčl, Ph.D. MHS Accred

The family name Tenčl dates back to 1819. One of the values passed across generations is a sense of harmony and spirituality. The armigerís ancestors had a rich life, yet no one had any knowledge of an existing coat of arms that could be used to unite family values and become a guiding light for future generations. That is why Miroslav Tenčl, when undertaking the genealogical research into the family, had wished to create a family armorial achievement; the design of the arms was finalised by his son, the present armiger.

The stag was chosen to represent harmony and healing, a family trait going back at least three generations, also life's search for harmony and unseen purity of heart. The horse and sun were favourites of the present armigerís father; the sun chosen to represent constant hope, whatever comes into life. The horse represents the courage to move on with great strength and follow hope.
